Refund policy
This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered on the HireavAkil Platform, including one-time consultations, document drafting and review services, and subscription plans. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Consultations
Scheduled consultations not yet commenced:
If you cancel a scheduled consultation at least 24 hours before the appointment time, you are entitled to a full refund of the consultation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will not be eligible for a refund, except in documented emergencies at our discretion.
Completed consultations:
Once a consultation has been conducted, the fee is non-refundable. If you believe the consultation was not delivered as described, please contact us at support@hireavakil.com within 48 hours of the session with a detailed account of your concern. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a credit or complimentary follow-up session.
Advocate no-show:
If an advocate fails to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, you are entitled to a full refund or, at your preference, a rescheduled consultation at no additional charge.
2. Document drafting & review services
Before work has commenced:
If you request a cancellation before an advocate has begun work on your document, you are entitled to a full refund.
After work has commenced:
If the advocate has begun drafting or reviewing your document, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, reflecting the proportion of work not yet completed.
After delivery of completed document:
Once a drafted or reviewed document has been delivered to you, the fee is non- refundable. If the delivered document contains errors attributable to the advocate's negligence (and not to inaccurate instructions you provided), we will arrange for corrections at no additional cost.
3. Subscription plans
Monthly subscriptions:
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current month.
Annual subscriptions:
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no services have been consumed during that period. After 7 days, no refund will be issued. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the annual period.
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at support@hireavakil.com with your order details, registered email address, and reason for the request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and resolve it within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to your bank's processing times.
5. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with our resolution of a refund request, you may escalate the matter in accordance with our dispute resolution process set out in the Terms of Use.
